Description:
Music and color fill the underwater city of Ryvaera, where naiads in glittering gemstone colors walk and swim along garden paths, glittering in the water and singing softly to themselves and to each other. They are ruled gently by the empress Delaia, and entertained and supplied by a potion-making mage named Sylaia and a gem and jewelry smith named Calaia. Recently, the water level of the river has been dropping, and the brightly colored fish that once filled the water have been disappearing. The reason is the beaver colony that has moved in upstream, blocking almost the entire flow of the river with their huge dam and their lodge, without a care in the world for the peaceful, heretofore mud-free lives of the Ryvaeran naiads.
