You can connect to Medievia using a client. Examples of clients are zMud and Mud Master. These are programs designed to help you play text games like Medievia. The suggested clients below are recommended to enhance your Medievia experience.
You can connect to Medievia through telnet, a standard program on your computer, using port 4000. The disadvantage of telnet is that many of the older versions don't use color codes, meaning all the text is in the same color, which can be confusing and difficult to read fast. The other big disadvantage is that the telnet application was not meant to play games on so you will be missing dozens of important client features. Click PLAY to launch telnet and play Medievia right now. Please remember to check out a client if you are interested in playing Medievia after checking it out through telnet.
Make sure to use a free Medievia font regardless of which client you use. Medievia fonts have custom shapes to make roads and other key features of Medievia look nice.

zMUD (Shareware $29.95) has over 60,000 registered users.
zMUD is a great application if you want to go the windows shareware way. Simply click the
following link to download the zMUD install and then run the setup program downloaded. This will setup and connect you to Medievia right away. While
Medievia is free, zMUD is not free. zMUD is shareware and costs $29.95. It comes with a 30 use free trial and all upgrades are free. Medievia is not
affiliated with zMUD and we do not share revenue and although zMUD is Shareware as opposed to some other free clients, we feel zMUD is well worth the
money when playing Medievia. It is vastly superior to Mud Master. zMud has been
updated constantly
for many years, taking players input and implementing every good idea out there. zMUD has a very good refund policy if you change your mind.
Click to download a 30 day free evaluation. This Medievia version of zMud installs our Medievia font for you.

Mac Platform:
MudWalker (Freeware), an exceptional client written in Cocoa similar to the old Rapscallion. You can also find a mailing list on the website which puts you in quick contact with creator Kevin Reid along with other MudWalker users. Still in development, MudWalker offers Lua scripting, MCP, multiple window support, and alias/triggers. Current version is for OS X 10.4 and above
Savitar (Shareware $15), a nice Mac client that continues to improve, with versions for all Macs. Does not currently include scripting support, but developers are looking at several options there.
Rapscallion (Freeware), used to be the premier Mac client, similar to zMud for Windows. The developers seem to have abandoned this project, but the people at MudMaster still have the download available.
