Description:
The remains of a massive marble crypt have sunken deeply into a swamp in
the southwestern portion of the continent, these thousands of years since.
At one time, this isolated place was home to the priests and servants of
Vatos, who served and worshipped their god Liamnar, unmolested by the
outside world. The nearby wars of powerful clans invaded upon their
peaceful existence, however, turning the ground red and the sky black;
slaughtering those who lived and despoiling the tombs of their ancestors.
Liamnar resurrected those he could, and years passed as these undead
servants waited to take his revenge. Millennia passed, and it was only
when the gravesites of local residents began to be disturbed that anyone
took notice. A search party in the area was destroyed utterly; no trace
of their bodies or their equipment remained, and no one knew what horrible
fate had befallen them.
