Description:
Deep in the forests of southeast Medievia, an ancient treeline, long avoided and feared by travellers and adventurers, has rested many centuries in quiet isolation. Now the leaders of Medievia have called for every brave adventurer to step up, and explore this ancient wood. The dark forest of Wittermark is a forest of incredible age and is said to be haunted by the ancient spirits of its massive oaks. Its location is well known, and well avoided, and there are no major roads or throughways near it. Perhaps you can find the lost race of elves that is said to dwell deep in the forest, but be warned, this forest is far from safe; many who already entered have yet to return, including several scores of brave knights who first attempted to make contact with the elves. Journey south from the keep of the mage Horneg, and look for a line of massive, ancient oaks, rising above the treeline.
