Description:
From the east comes a strong breeze that pelts the seaside community of G'dangus, which has stood on this spot for centuries. Through hurricanes and other natural disasters it has survived and even flourished. Rich with history, the village has been a port of call for pirates, merchants, and pilgrims from throughout the land of Medievia. The village was named after a famous dragon-slaying pirate who became the Burgomeister after saving the village from a giant sea serpent. In past years G'dangus has been a focal point for the smuggling trade, yet with the ever-increasing danger of the open seas the trade has dwindled down to practically nothing. The village is hoping for a resurgence of sea trade as the current Burgomeister rebuilds the harbor, which was destroyed several years ago by hurricane Gashumiduner. For now, the village relies on wagon trade and caters to the needs of the weary merchants. Surprisingly for such a small town, it boasts several taverns, a bank, a stable, and even a clerical order.
