  • Legends tell of the ancient Kingdom of Bodaria, led by the mighty and just King Clayborne. It spanned almost all of Medievia, and this unification led to an era of great peace during Clayborne's lifetime. The king combined disciplined troops with skillful mages to win most of his battles. His most powerful mage and most trusted advisor was a man named Qasar. This wizard was very powerful and curious, and he often performed magical experiments. One day, disaster struck Stornaway Castle, the capital of Bodaria. Many said it was one of Qasar's experiments gone awry; others suggested Qasar went mad and killed everyone. Still more rumors said a portal to the underworld was opened, and demons killed all of the castle's inhabitants. Because Clayborne had not named an heir, the issue was soon forgotten, as all of Bodaria's lesser lords went to war to fight for control of the kingdom. This war tore apart what Clayborne had created, and in all of the chaos, Stornaway Castle was forgotten. Today not even the castle's location is known. All of this was just a legend told to children at bed time until now. A lone warrior recently came stumbling into Medievia, claiming he and his adventuring party had found the Ruins of Stornaway Castle. He died of bleeding wounds before he could give any information other than the ruins' location, in the heart of a marshy island. Word of this event has spread all over Medievia.

The Ruins of Stornaway Castle is mainly an xp zone, with some good equipment.
