Designed by Ilvir Suggested Levels Description: An excerpt from the writings of Thramaldes the Seer: Legend states that a long time ago, the Arch Mage Cavilla created an abode deep in the mountain range south of New Ashton, and from this abode she inflicted indescribable horrors upon the inhabitants of that region. Mysterious phantom armies of enchanted creatures surged forth to slay and plunder, collecting wealth and knowledge for their Mistress. Years passed, and Cavilla, content with her successes, desired an heir to her fortunes and eventually gave birth to her daughter, Maiyella. Maiyella grew up to be quite a beautiful woman, quite like her mother in that respect. Unfortunately, she did not inherit her mother's temperament or evil inclinations. In fact, Maiyella was quite the opposite, striving to do good deeds, in the face of her mother's evil. She strove to heal and repair, while her mother craved and destroyed. Time passed, and kingdoms rose and fell. As fortune would have it, Cavilla's domain was not immune to the cycles of time and the ferocious might of her enemies. Her enemies gathered, united and rose against her in battles that spilled blood like so much water; the blood of friends and foes alike. Her powers waning and her armies scattering around her, Cavilla fled back to her abode, taking with her the last of her immortal guardians and her beautiful daughter. Cavilla must have been quite ill at ease with the idea of her daughter's goodness outlasting her empire, for she overcame Maiyella's defenses and cast her into an enchanted slumber, imprisoning her forever in her abode, which she sealed up with powerful magicks.
