In times past, unwary players were slaughtered here by their more brutal fellows, and others would duel to the death when their differences became too great. Even today, the aura of death still hangs over the woods. Somewhere within this zone, it is said, is a magic portal which leads to the distant island of NaeraMae. Hints: Some of the swamp wraiths and mistlings have elemental stones. There is an ogre village hidden in the swamp. It can be reached if you know the right way through the mist.
