[CLAN] Lavidius has become a cleric!

Finally, I am a cleric. Thirty one levels until I hero! Making it back to Medievia City, I rummage through my locker for the equipment that I stored before I approached Mount Vryce for possibly the last time. After I ready myself, I hit the streets of the City of Medievia. A few dramatic battles with some of the easier targets later, using my mage spells oddly enough, I attain level five. Now that I have a few spare practices I go learn some of my cleric spells. Warriors and Thieves have certain abilities in common and this is true of the cleric and mage classes - there are several spells I can save my practices on for I already have them!

I use the portal at the Central Square of the city.

You step into the portal and are instantly surrounded by a swirling mist.

The mist slowly fades away and you find yourself elsewhere.

The Clerics' Training Room
A massive, underground chamber houses the clerics' guild. Though there are no windows to the outside, the room seems bathed in perpetual sunlight. Bordering the walls of the room are dozens of sun-shaped urns, each filled with a mysterious white flame, glowing with intense brightness. The Guildmaster of all clerics, Mianshu, is praying in silencehere. He is surrounded by a shimmering, magical field.

I carefully select the spells to learn first. I can now create food and water to sustain me on my journeys, I can protect myself to a moderate degree and I can even cure my wounds to a limited extent.

The first spells I learn is armor, create food, create water, cure blind, bless, and cause serious. These spells should help and make levelling go a little faster. Within a few ranks I shall be able to use more powerful protective and curative spells, as well as using some of the more devastating alignment based spells. I leave the guild with my new found spells and set out to gain some more combat experience. It's time to try out my new spells - to the graveyard....

A Gravesite
You travel an east-west path through the Graveyard. There is a tombstone here. Some drops of blood can be seen on the ground. A ghoul is here staring at you hungrily.

You chant the arcane words and are drained of 5 mana. A suit of ethereal armor appears on you and slowly vanishes.

You grin wickedly at the ghoul.

You chant out the arcane words and are drained of 8 mana. You press your fingers to the ghoul, who shrieks in pain.

Your pierce disembowels the ghoul! the ghoul is covered with blood from oozing wounds. The ghoul misses you. You dodge the ghoul's attack.

Your pound kills the ghoul! The ghoul is DEAD!! You are awarded 4557 experience points for the battle. You shiver in disgust as the ghoul lets out a final, agonizing moan before death.

[CLAN] Lavidius has LEVELLED!

As I check the corpse for loot, I chuckle to myself. I'll be a hero in no time.
