How long in Medievia: June 1999
Jobs in Medievia: Mudslinger Editor/Reporter (Interviews), Mudslinger/MedWeb Assistant, AutoQuest Writer, New Player Helper (NPH)
Medievia GTGs attended: None (sniff)-plan one in the Midwest and I'll be there.
Hobbies: Between a busy school schedule, tons extracurricular activities (fraternity, student government, several university committees, etc.), and managing a social life I barely have any time for hobbies!
Favorite color: Blue … although I have way too much of it in my wardrobe - heck, even my cell phone is blue.
Favorite quote: "Great dreams... never even get out of the box. It takes an uncommon amount of guts to put your dreams on the line, to hold them up and say, 'How good or how bad am I?' That's where courage comes in." -Erma Bombeck
Most Memorable Medievia Moment: It's a tie between heroing after a repulsive amount of time and being promoted to level 33.
Greatest Medievia Accomplishments: Helping to build my clan's first clantown, becoming a god, conducting my first interview (a clan spotlight piece with Solaria of clan 68), becoming an avatar, and watching my two bloodline children hero after only a few months (not like father, like son).
Most Embarassing Medievia Moment: Ugh … I've done so many stupidly embarrassing things that it's hard to pick but one!
Most looking forward to Medievia event: There is one in particular I am really looking forward to, but I can't talk about it, so for now we'll just say … clan ships!
Most Prized Possessions: My unnecessarily large collection of video game systems (most of which I never play anymore), my friends and family, and my cell phone (where would I be without it?).
Favorite Foods: Chicken finger Caesar salads (with honey mustard dressing … I don't like the Caesar dressing), wontons, and anything that involves cheese.
Favorite Authors: Dan Brown, Laura Joh Rowland, J.K. Rowling (yes, I read Harry Potter), and all of our Mudslinger contributors!
Favorite Books: The Da Vinci Code, anything from the Sano Ichiro mystery series, and basically whatever else is on my night stand at this time. [Disclaimer: I used to work for a library in high school, so I read a ton of different books/authors, and I don't really prefer one type of genre over another, so my favorite book/author is subject to change monthly!]
Favorite Movies: Lost In Translation, Tommy Boy, and anything by Christopher Guest (A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman).
Favorite Music: I'll really listen to anything, although I do enjoy a lot of ridiculous pop and rap/hip-hop.
Favorite TV Shows: Seinfeld (when will they release it on DVD???), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Family Guy, The Simpsons (not the newer episodes), Futurama, The Critic, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (although I don't really like season four).
If you could describe yourself as any animal, what would it be?: I'd like to be a cheetah, just because that's been my generic answer since second grade. In reality, it would be more like a sloth or something…
Favorite Place in the World: It's a tie between Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Tokyo, Japan.
Five Things *Most* People Don't Know About You:
  • I'm ambidextrous.
  • I suck at doing math in my head.
  • I'm a techno geek that shops regularly at stores like J. Crew, Saks, and Neiman-Marcus.
  • I'm a writing tutor at my university (one of the few that isn't an English major - I'm a Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship double major).
  • I've had several years of singing lessons, and sang for four years of high school and one year of college. I also used to play the piano.
  • Earliest Memory: Being in my crib and being given a little stuffed Bengal tiger wearing a football helmet by one of my mom's friends-I think I still have it somewhere.
