November 26th, 2024 Client Signed From Vryce, OK so it is a GOOD DAY! A DAMNED GOOD HISTORIC DAY!! The Medievia Mudlet client has been signed by Medievia.com Inc, an authorized and approved publisher. Getting this done took 3 acts of God and a pint of blood. The process is crazy complicated and difficult with so many hoops to jump through that I feel I need therapy and a vacation. For 12,380 days since January 4th 1991 when we opened for testing, getting anyone to try Medievia hit the client brick wall. Telnet, then tintin came, then zMud, Mudmaster... Playing Medievia was technically challenging for most everyone. That or they had to buy zMud or use Mudmaster which looked like we were trying to get them to play garbage, not to mention the difficulty of installing our font and getting past the "don't use this product as it is not from a trusted publisher" crap! Now we can advertise and market the game effectively. Just go to medievia.com and click play. Simple. Thanks to Kymbahl and Mudlet anyone can be playing the game with just a few clicks of the finger with the game looking state of the art amazing. No money or technical know-how needed. Now anyone can hear about Medievia and be playing Medievia in seconds. It is like 33 years of practice is over and now it is day ONE of the new age of Medievia! CHEER!!!! News about the player outreach project will be coming soon as well as our new online Medievia database of drill down data, new Medlink, and so much more. I will be making videos myself for all kinds of stuff. I will be promoting Medievia at local gaming conventions, comic book events, placing flyers, etc. Players will hopefully help and promote the game at every opportunity.
