Wild Equipment
A new kind of gear has arrived in the world - wild equipment!
Wild equipment is dynamically generated when it is awarded. An imp might
pop in and give you something like:
An imp pops in and gives you a wild buckler as a reward!
An imp pops in and gives you a wild flail as a reward!
An imp pops in and gives you a wild cuff as a reward!
Each wild item is:
- Randomized at the moment you receive it
- Tailored to your class
- Scaled to your level
- Assigned a tier from 1 (basic) to 4 (legendary)
- Assigned 1 to 4 stats
This system is wild. You could get a god-tier piece of gear - or
something so bad you wouldn't give it to your worst enemy.
For example:
a wild pair of pants
influence_melee[+1]
vs
a wild cuff
dr[+5] influence_melee[+3]
dodge (success)[+30%] backstab (success)[+30%]
This is an experimental feature being tested in select encounters.
More will be added as we refine and expand the system.
