Description:
After the Rage of infuriated ancestral spirits levelled the once-proud
city of Nemorensis, the Goddess Verthandi shattered Time itself,
disrupting the turning of seasons in the Grove. A small priesthood
continues to worship the Goddess, and in return She provides for Her
followers, granting them wisdom and stewardship of Her sacred woodlands.
Pockets of Time are said to be scattered throughout the Grove, and there
is a strange legend stating that those with the courage to discover
Verthandi's gifts, the will to fight for the restoration of the land, and
the humility to lie at Her feet will be rewarded with the power to grant
death and life.
