Ocean Wildlife

As soon as a player enters the ocean, ocean wildlife will start to appear. If you decide to battle these creatures they will slowly
increase in size and with size difficulty. Killing ocean creatures is a great way to gather fae and if you survive your battles with
sharks gold too. There is no limit as to how large the creatures can become.

Ocean kills are tracked and record the largest kills to create a new record kill. When a record is broken the player receives a medal
and their name gets added to the Ocean Records. To view the currency records type

  • gamei oceanrecords - Lists record kills for both solo and formed kills.
  • gamei underocean - List Fae collect and trips under hunting excursions.

Ocean life can be separated into 2 categories, Those found in schools (multiple) and those found by themselves. If you attack a
schooling creature the rest of the school will rush to its defence. Keep this in mind it can get quite intense.

Each creature will have a damage bonus, an AC bonus, an attack proc and a special attack. All this information can be found in the
OCEANLIFE help file.

As an introduction to ocean life we will list the creatures along with their Aggressive and if they school or not. If you wish to learn
more about each creature please review the helpfile.

SeaHorses:

These are mountable under ocean creatures. Note the command NN commands your seahorse to head towards the formation leader
assuming the leader is mounted on a seahorse as well. They only appear over 20 depth. When mounted you have a 90% less chance of
being dragged away or unformed.

When ocean life becomes active you will start seeing indications on the cast sense underocean spell ( C S U for short) the higher
the numbers the greater the activity. This can help you navigate back to where you were if you happened to die during your adventure.
