Ship Combat: Khrait
What are Khrait?

Khrait is a predictable mobfaction from afar. By predictable we mean you will know the circumstances under which they will appear.

A ship has collected 6,000,000 fae aboard and is at a depth of 175 or more will pop Khrait.
(NOTE-This cannot happen more than once every 12 hours per ship)

Sinking a Khrait ship will reward gold, fae and hero points. Khrait ships can also have notes aboard containing secret ship spells. These spells are much coveted by ship captains. The note can be in a chest or lying on the ground in the hold. To get a chest note you would need to capture the ship.

When you pop Khrait the area will be covered in fog ahead of a storm from afar. Gradually the fog will clear, and the storm will dissipate and ships from afar will appear. Khrait can spawn as few as 2 and as many as 6 ships. The command "ship list clan 0" will show you how many Khrait ships are currently in the realm of Medievia.

Khrait just like players try to repair their ship, they also move very quickly. Fire at the rigging to slow them down and their hull for them to take on water. Getting them to actually sink could take some time.

When a Khrait ship is grappled it will no longer fire at you and will sink much faster due to greater damage from close proximity. This could be a useful tactic to lower the damage you are receiving. If there are multiple Khrait ships, the others will keep firing.
