Secret ship spells

Some Khrait ships will carry secrets about in their cargo hold or in their ship chest. Once you have obtained one of these secrets it will look something like this:

vas vasool zeetar kon mihabid.

Sib vasools zeetar ka fo nigootosuk.

[AB]
A = 4 kionokeet
B = 2 teflacan, FRUND CULI

Since we do not speak Khraitese we will need to translate the spell into english.

To do this we need to be in a room with JUST ONE and only one kraken arm with no other MF corpse present, hold the note, and say "vas smurt".
You will now have a translated ship spell, in this example the translated secret will be

Summon Beast, vas vasool zeetar applies spell.
This summons a beast onto the ship.
[AB]
A = 4 sea termite
B = 2 seagriffin, STAND HERE
This secret spell expires: Tue Jan 9 00:00:00 2007

As you can see there is an expiry date on every ship spell. Do not attempt to use this spell it will fail. If a secret spell fails some very bad things could happen. Your ship could be critically damaged to almost sinking, it could flood, it could catch fire or even sink instantly. You could attract a swarm of baby serpent or nothing at all could happen.

To cast the spells summon beast you will need to place 4 termite corpses in the first room and to the east 2 seagriffon corpses. You must stand at the indicated location for the spell to succeed. When all is arranged as instructed by the secret spell, say the magic words.

"Say vas vasool zeetar"

MF Corpse management

MF corpses are large as such you can only store a finite quantity of each type in each room. It is recommended to store corpses of the same type in the same room in the gun rooms on the lower deck of your ship. This makes it possible to drag them out and into position on the main deck or the center of the lower deck in the order you need them to be to cast the spell.

The more complicated the spell is, the more corpses and rooms you will need for each spell.
