This spell creates an invisible shield around the casters body. Attacks
from lawful creatures do reduced damage for the duration of the spell. The
caster must be evil aligned. The spell provides more protection against
weaker creatures than stronger ones.

Although there is both a protection from evil and protection from
good, if you are evil aligned, you will automatically cast protection
from good if you type cast protection from or any shorter version. (c
protect or c pr work) The same thing goes for good aligned people. If
you are good, you will cast protection from evil by typing c pr as a
shortcut.
