SHIP_HELM

Syntax:
ship helm        Take control of the helm
ship relinquish  Remove your control of the helm
ship lash        Lash the helm to hold course. You can give an
angle so that the lashed ship turns at that angle,
-90(hard left-larboard) to 90(hard right-starboard)


The course of a ship is controlled from the helm. In order to change a ships
course, the person who is at the helm uses SHIP COURSE.

If the person at the helm must leave the room, the helm must be lashed. Lashing
the helm holds the wheel steady to avoid the ship veering wildly with the wind
and waves. Even when a ship is lashed, it might drift slightly off course.

When the helm is relinquished, the current helmsman will be removed and someone
else will be able to take control of the helm.
