MUDLET_CLIENT

Mudlet is an actively developed cross-platform modern MUD Client.
All of the same features and tools are available in Mudlet that one may
be used to with other clients such as MudMaster, ZMud, Tintin++,
MUSHClient etc. Please refer to HELP MUDLET_TIPS for a quick primer on
how to make triggers/actions, aliases, and writing scripts.

Mudlet is now the official recommended MUD client for Medievia, so
we provide an installer for Windows that will automatically set up
the Medievia Font (for use with map font 5), sets the correct options
for character set, and includes a package that weve designed called MedUI.

For the time being, only a Windows installer is provided. However Mudlet
is also available for Mac and Linux and all of the same features are available
for each platform! Please see the official Mudlet website for downloads for

MedUI sets up a communication window, map window, vitals gauges, and
a buff indication bar. Please refer to HELP MEDUI for more information
about these features.


The installer will set up a shortcut to a batch file on your Desktop which
will launch Mudlet and automatically connect to a default profile named
Medievia. This profile exists on your hard drive in a directory, for most
people, here C:/Users/<user>/.config/mudlet/profiles/Medievia. You may also
get to this directory by typing %UserProfile% into the location bar in a
file system explorer window, then navigating to .config/mudlet/profiles. All
of your scripts will be saved to this location so it is useful to occasionally
make backups of the entire directory.
