To find the catacombs you will need to ask Marious, an Old and powerful war wizard stationed in the War Room.

The War Room is hidden away on the upper levels of Castle Medievia you will need to be diligent in your search to find him!

Once you have reached the war room type WHERE and Marious will telepath you the current location.

Marious, the Great War Wizard telepaths you, 'Let's see here... I see an entrance at...'.
Marious, the Great War Wizard telepaths you, 'A Path through the Forest'.
Marious, the Great War Wizard telepaths you, 'in the general vicinity of'.
Marious, the Great War Wizard telepaths you, 'The Rydhordel Woods'.
Marious, the Great War Wizard telepaths you, 'The entrance has just been uncovered.'.

Marious will tell you

1. Room name 'A Path through the Forest.
2. Zone name 'The Rydhordel Woods.
3. How long ago the entrance appeared 'The entrance has just been uncovered.

Once per hour, the catacombs will attempt to move. If successful, the above age will be shown. If the move fails, the age will gradually change.

If you are in the catacombs when they move you will be transported to the Glowing Alcove east of Marious.
When you ask for the new location dont't forget to turn in the eggs you've collected with the command "fill all"

If you are in the Catacombs you will see a yellow echo indicating that then entrance has failed to move

• 'fill' - deposits the eggs from your inventory to the wizard
• 'fillall' - deposits all eggs in your inventory including in containers
• 'where' - reports location of combs
• 'list' - lists available items for purchase
• 'ask' - Marious will state how many filled eggs you have available
• 'offer' - used to egg equipment e.g offer 200 help, 200 eggs are required to egg an item
