Crafting Quick Guide
Basic process
  1. Learn and improve the Blacksmith skill with a trainer.
  2. Find tempers, sigils, blueprints, and components while adventuring.
  3. Recycle unwanted normal equipment to recover components.
  4. Use a sigil of temperance to make eligible equipment TEMPERABLE.
  5. Visit a forge to temper equipment or craft an item from a blueprint.
  6. Inspect all equipment after working on it.

Important warnings
  • Crafting is intentionally slow, risky, and dependent on patience.
  • Sigils and tempers are consumed when used.
  • Tempering can reduce Blacksmith knowledge or, rarely, destroy both the equipment and temper.
  • Recycling permanently consumes the equipment.
  • Components cannot be traded and are capped at 1,000 of each.
  • Excess components from recycling are lost.
  • Blueprints, components, and gold are consumed when crafting.
  • Forging is never guaranteed.
  • Forges have cooldowns.
