Ship Battle Weekend!

SPECIAL SHIP BATTLE WEEKEND!

Experience is doubled starting Friday at 6pm and ending Monday at 6am!

This will be our first ManofWar Ship Battle weekend! No ship needed. This is a type of SHIP EVENT called BATTLE, where any player can enter the event for 1 million gold which gives them a ship ready to go with 100% skilled crew, anchor weighed, sails raised, ammo ready, and everything prepared for battle. This is like NASCAR where all players have exactly the same ship. All of these battles are very exciting and cheap to enter!

Starting Friday at 6pm and ending Monday at 6am we will tally battles and list the top winners.

The players with the following ranks get these winnings!
1st place gets 50 million gold and a 1st place medal
2nd place gets 40 million gold and a 2nd place medal
3rd place gets 30 million gold and a 3rd place medal
4th place gets 20 million gold
5th place gets 10 million gold
6th place gets 9 million gold
7th place gets 8 million gold
8th place gets 7 million gold
9th place gets 6 million gold
10th place gets 5 million gold

To trigger a new ship battle 2+ players must simply request one on PRAY and if a God is online they will start a new battle where all players have time to join.

Players are placed on ships all near each other in the ship training pen. The only winner is the last ship floating. All damage is quadrupled. The anchor will be raised and you can move as soon as you start and before the event actually begins.

NOTE:

When you do the most damage against a ship that has sunk your ship gets up to a 90% heal and all fires doused.
The rules say that no one may help you and you must remain alone on your ship.
To have a deckhand report what ship is closest and in range in any direction you must shout:
"shout ship lb" for larboard
"shout ship sb" for starboard
"shout ship st" for stern
"shout ship b" for bow
SHIPADMIN command is important, especially APPOINT to become captain
JOB command is important especially .j m d. for job manage deckhands where you tell them to be at guns, repairing, dousing, pumping, etc. HELP DECKHANDS
SHOUT command is how you tell the deckhands who to fire at, HELP DECKHANDS explains

SHIP DAMAGE shows damage - you seen that coming!

Basically if you are new to ships the whole thing can be daunting but these ship battle events are a very cheap and simple way to learn. To prepare just do a SHIP TRAIN which for free gives you a ship to play with. Please do not do SHIP TRAIN when battles are taking place in the training pen.
