Turkey Day by Ixildor

Once it was so happy,
Eating its own food,
The turkey of the farmer,
Was really in the mood,
Until the day it happened,
Someone stole it’s feathers,
So now it waits there all day long for some heroes to avenge.

*chorus*

Oh what a poor turkey poor turkey
Wondering who will save the day,
Must it wait
For the date
When a Medievian comes today,
Oh what a poor turkey poor turkey
Wondering who will save the day,
Must it wait for the date
When a Medievian comes today.

So then it waited,
And waited some more,
And then it came upon
Some friendly heroes, four,
They promised they would find them,
The feathers that were lost and
So the turkey warbled its warble
And asked them not to get lost.

*Chorus*

Now when these heroes found
Them the feathers that were lost
The turkey was so happy
It almost missed the frost
So now it knows its lesson
The turkey that had fame
It always must keep track of
The feathers that remain

*chorus*
