The Slaying Song - By Ankaerith

Marching through the Combs
With a good two-handed blade
Over the dead we go
'n through the gore we wade
Mace on armor rings
Making bodies fly
What fun to sing our Slaying Song
And watch those monsters DIE!

Oh, ring their bells with swords and spells
Don't let 'em flee away!
We're brave and bold for eggs and gold
We'll find a lot this day!
Oh, ring their bells with swords and spells
Don't let 'em get away!
We'll hack and slash and blast and trash
And blow these things away!

Crashing through the cave
In to the Dragon's nose
Our mage shoots out some shards of frost
And out his fire goes!
Staves a'sleeping swing
Making Banshees snore
Our thief rides a whirlwind
Up to the other floor!

Oh, ring their bells with swords and spells
Don't let 'em flee away!
We're brave and bold for eggs and gold
We'll find a lot this day!
Oh, ring their bells with swords and spells
Don't let 'em flee away!
We'll hack and slash and blast and trash
And blow these things away!

Here the Meta stands
With his dragon guard
Our Mage yawns and wishes
We'd fight something thats hard.
Meta starts to cast
His Umpteenth level Fear
Out we run much too damn fast
And find ourselves in Lyr

Oh, ring their bells with swords and spells
Don't let 'em flee away!
We're brave and bold for eggs and gold
We'll find a lot today!
Oh, ring their bells with swords and spells
Don't let 'em flee away!
We'll hack and slash and blast and trash
And blow these things away!

Here we stand in Lyr
In front of Daenar's throne
Our Cleric waves us out the door
And takes him on alone!
Daenar's legions don't
Want to let us go
Our mage whips out a shockwave
And pounds 'em 'till they BLOW!

Oh, ring their bells with Prayers and Spells
Don't let 'em flee away!
We're brave and bold and CRAZED, we're told
To think we'll live the day!
Oh, ring their bells with swords and SPELLS
Don't let 'em flee away!
We'll hack and slash and blast and trash
And drag our loot away!
