Foreword

The Mudslinger offices have been quiet for player submissions of late - according to the polls there are a lot of people who have been thinking of submitting articles. HELP MUDSLINGER_SUBMIT is the file to read regarding this, as well as sundry other articles here or there. *cough* writer's guide *cough* Feel inspired? Get writing :)

Despite this lull we have compiled an issue of textual delights so here goes...

Fiction

Mystic gems come at a price - sometimes the price is too high. Robicheaux explores this in "Ruby of Destruction"
Ordinary life can be most unusual when magic is involved. Check out "Yarrg" by Alkanar to see what happens in a routine day in the Academy of Braneri.

Factual

The Writer's Guide for Fiction creaks into its fourth issue - how many more aspects are there? Excrucior has run out of toes so it looks like this one is set to run and run.

Features

Alara provided her innermost (ish) thoughts to Nykaul for her interview.
Maleah compiled the latest Wedding and Heroing announcements - please send opinions on the new style to either Maleah or Excrucior :)
The disbanding of clan 52, the Rogues of the Forbidden Legion, caused a lot of confusion. Why did they disband? Maleah followed up the original clan spotlight to produce an explanation from the lips of the man himself - Tharghan.
