This spell creates an invisible shield around the caster's body. Attacks
from lawful creatures do reduced damage for the duration of the spell. Only
clerics of evil alignment may cast this spell.
Although there is both a "protection from evil" and "protection from
good",-if you are evil aligned, you will automatically cast protection
from good if you type "cast protection from" or any shorter version. ("c
protect"-or "c pr"-work) The same thing goes for good aligned people. If
you are good, you will cast "protection from evil" by typing "c pr" as a
shortcut.
