If a wilderness room is trampled it will allow wagons to transverse it.
These rooms have a magenta background and text in the room. Monsters like
the Giant Seaslugs and Jakob will make wide lanes of trampled areas that
last a good part of a day; thus opening up some interesting trade routes.
Lions slowly trample down an area and will let wagons pass beside many
roads; thus creating more tactics and dynamic play. Remember that roads do
not stay trampled for ever. The text in the room will give you a clue. If
your wagon is not adjacent to a road and the area around you becomes
normal again, your wagon will be stranded.
When an area becomes TRAMPLED it is destroyed. This will affect clan land
and clan businesses on a regular basis.
