TRADEPOST
Trade posts and shops are the center of the local economy. This is where the goods are bought and sold. To see what a particular post carries as goods, type: list. Within that list, two types of items are available: tradeables, such as ale and seed, and freight to carry the goods, such as mules, horses and wagons. Tradeables are simply the goods that are traded around the land. To buy or sell items or freight in a tradepost: buy <freightname> ex: buy covered buy <item> ex: buy metal buy <amount> <item> ex: buy 10 metal sell <freightname> ex: sell covered sell <item> ex: sell metal sell <amount> <item> ex: sell 10 metal There is no need to load the items into the freight, the shopkeepers and their assistants take care of it for all people that trade. To buy items, though, there must be some type of freight to put them in, so the freight must be bought first. Typing "describe <freightname>" will show the relative size and weight capacity of the wagon or beast. When you move out of the tradepost, the freight will now move with you. For it to continue following you, it must be in the same room as you are. You can not cut around areas on the road and have freight move with you, unless it is able to cross that terrain. To look in/at a wagon, mule, or horse, which will show you who owns it and what cargo (if any) it contains, type EXAMINE <freight>, like EXAMINE MULE or EXAMINE WAGON If your wagon, mule, or horse is in the room with you, check it out with EXAMINE MY <freight>, like EXAMINE MY WAGON See Also: TRADE FREIGHT WAGONTRAIN TRADEHINTS CATASTROPHE MOBFACTIONS
