This spell creates an invisible shield around the caster's body. Attacks
from evil creatures do reduced damage for the duration of the spell. Only
clerics or multiclass ex-clerics of good alignment may cast this spell.
Although there is both a "protection from evil" and "protection from
good",-if you are evil aligned, you will automatically cast protection
from good if you type "cast protection from" or any shorter version. ("c
protect"-or "c pr"-work) The same thing goes for good aligned people. If
you are good, you will cast "protection from evil" by typing "c pr" as a
shortcut.
