Rules and Objectives for the Portal Quest:

1) If you can, form with someone or a group of people. It will increase
your odds of survival.
2) Use strategies. Make some if you have to.
3) Survive.

The object of the quest is to slay mobs that will arrive through the fiery
portal. These creatures have been dragged from their homes by this
multi-dimensional portal. During their trip, they have become enraged, and
they will seek to destroy anything in their way. Listen to the
instructions given by the god running the quest. You must survive 500
seconds (8 minutes and 20 seconds). If you do survive for the whole time
period, you will receive a reward at the end.
