PARRY

Warrior only.

If you succeed, you will have parried your opponent's attack. This skill
will automatically be used during combat. You must have a weapon wielded
to be able to parry. The chance for your character to successfully parry
an attack is based on several factors, including:
 - Your character's Strength stat
 - Your character's Dexterity stat
 - The difference in levels between your character and your
        opponent
 - Any equipment worn by your character with the parry SUCCESS stat
 - The weapon type wielded by your character and your opponent

You will receive a modifier to your chance to parry an opponent's attack
based on the weapon type your character is wielding. In general, 2-handed
weapons receive the largest bonus to your character's chance to parry an
attack, followed by 1-handed non-BSER weapons, followed by 1-handed weapons
with the BSER flag. Additional factors include:
 - Your chance to parry attacks from a bare-handed opponent (not
wielding a weapon) are significantly reduced
 - Weapons with the LONG flag give a small additional bonus to your
        character's parry chance
 - Offhanded weapons give a small additional bonus to your
        character's parry chance

Your opponent will receive a penalty to parry your attacks based on the
weapon type your character is wielding. In general, 2-handed weapons grant
the largest penalty to your opponent's chance to parry, followed by 1-handed
non-BSER weapons, followed by 1-handed weapons with the BSER flag. Additional
factors include:
 - Your opponent's chance to parry your bare-handed attacks (made
without a weapon) are significantly reduced.
 - Weapons with the LONG flag give a small additional penalty to
        your opponent's parry chance
 - Offhanded weapons give a small additional penalty to your
        opponent's parry chance
