Gambling of any kind, except in the situations specifically outlined
below, is prohibited on Medievia. Players found gambling will be PURGED
This includes use of the ROLL command for simple betting, as well as
player-run lotteries or other games of chance covered under RULES part J.
It includes dueling for gold or betting on duels. It also includes
discussion of sports books or any other off-game gambling games run among
the Medievia community. Read ANNOUNCEMENT 708 for details.

The ONLY permitted forms of gambling on Medievia are the MEDLINK casino
rooms and wagering on HEROBATTLES with the HEROWAGER command.

In MedLink, there is a casino with card tables and slot machines. These
rooms are old and may or may not work. If they do work, they may stop
working at any time. They may or may not ever get fixed. For instructions,
see HELP SLOTS and HELP POKER It is illegal to use these games as a way
to gamble for gold or equipment. You can only play them as they are.
