"DONATION ITEMS"
Below are the items that are available in exchange for a donation tokens
via the DONATION command. To get donation tokens read HELP DONATIONS
Any donation item except DC's will make the donation text go away if you
have the item on you (equipped or in inventory). If a Decree is your only
donation item, the text will come back after you use the Decree, since the
item will have disappeared.
TALISMANS, AURAS and DECREES:
One of the following Talismans, the Aura, or the Decree may be received in
exchange for 50 donation tokens worth $50.
MYSTICAL TALISMAN (Specify HP with your donation)

Worn on: Neck, pendant
100 hitpoints, DAMROLL 7, AC 20

MAGICAL TALISMAN (Specify MANA with your donation)

DECREE (Specify DECREE with your donation)
Seen as: Decree of Separation
Worn on: is not worn, is in inventory
This item if used on yourself will separate you from your parent's
BLOODLINE if you have kids, you will now have your own BLOODLINE
called "House of Yourname." If used on your child, he or she is
removed from your bloodline, and if they have kids they get their own
bloodline called "House of Theirname."
You will receive your decree in the mail after donating for it. HOLD
the Decree, and type:
use decree <name>
where <name> is either the child you want to remove, or your own name
if you want to remove yourself. The Decree will disappear when you've
used it. Make sure you know what you're doing!
NOTE You can ONLY use the Decree on your child. It cannot be used on
your grandchildren or other later generations. It can only be used
once per donation. It also works on children that have been purged.
You will be able to use BLOODLINE CREATE to replace children you
have removed with the Decree.
ITEMS
One of the following items may be received in exchange for 25 donation
tokens, which is worth $25.
DRAGON CRYSTAL (Specify DC with your donation)
Seen as: a dragon crystal
Keep in mind that dragon crystals will return a random number of
practice sessions and that there are always DC's in the game to be
found. You may donate at any time for a DC and have as many as you
wish.
CONTAINER (Specify CONTAINER with your donation)
Seen as: a Magical Pocket
Worn on: Hip (a special location for this item)
1 YEAR DETERIORATION
Holds 500 stones. The next best container is a Portable Hole,
which holds 250 stones.
FOCUS (Specify FOCUS with your donation)
Seen as: an Elemental Focus
Worn on: Focus (a special location for this item)
1 YEAR DETERIORATION
When worn, this item makes your mana and hitpoints regenerate at a
rate that is greater than any other equipment combination possible
in the game.
BLESSING (Specify BLESSING with your donation)
Seen as: the Blessing of the Gods
Worn on: Blessing (a special location for this item)
1 YEAR DETERIORATION
When worn, this item allows you to reanimate from a corpse to your
body without waiting. That means all you have to do is find an
altar.
SHRINE (Specify SHRINE with your donation)
Seen as: a Portable Shrine
Worn on: is not worn, is in inventory
1 YEAR DETERIORATION
This item helps those who are deceased locate the nearest altar. If
you have a shrine in your inventory, when you become an undead corpse,
you'll be holding a portable shrine. If you type USE SHRINE one of
two things will happen: if there's an altar nearby, you'll be
teleported to that altar, where you'll be restored to life; if no
altar is nearby, you'll be restored to life in place. (Note that you
must be in the wilderness to use the shrine, and it won't function
until your time to pray is down to 0. Remember that if you also have
a blessing, you need only wait about 1 minute to use this.)
CHARM (Specify CHARM with your donation)
Seen as: the Draconian Charm
Worn on: is not worn, is in inventory
1 YEAR DETERIORATION
This item bestows the favor of dragonkind upon you. If you have a
Draconian Charm in your inventory, the cost of calling dragons is cut
to one-third the normal price. In addition, the dragons will work
harder on your behalf (meaning they fly faster). The dragons will not
be bothered so much when flying through storms. Those with the Dragon
Hunter flag and the Charm will fly even faster.
CHIME (Specify CHIME with your donation)
Seen as: the Chimes of Changing
Worn on: is not worn, is in inventory
1 YEAR DETERIORATION
Having this item in your inventory allows you to bias your alignment
drift. To set your bias, hold the chimes and type "use chimes good",
"use chimes neutral", or "use chimes evil". You'll move towards this
alignment faster, and away from this alignment more slowly. This item
has a 1 year deterioration.
CERTIFICATE of REDEMPTION:
This is a 20-donation-token item worth $20 that allows you to add a year
to your donation items that are crumbling (deteriorated). Donation items
will stay at the crumbled state until you use a certificate on them, and
certificates can only be used on crumbled items. You can donate for a
certificate and use it on the item of your choice, that being: Aura (need
2 certificates), Spirit (also need 2), Focus, Blessing, Pocket, Shrine,
Charm, or Chime. So, instead of re-donating $25 for a new Pocket because
yours is deteriorated, you can donate for a certificate. This saves you $5
and also makes sure you do not lose any days by either ordering a new
pocket too early or too late. This saves you $10 for replacing an Aura or
Spirit.
How to use a certificate:
If the item you're restoring is worn (pocket, aura, blessing, focus),
REMOVE it, so it's in your inventory. Then type "hold certificate" then
"use certificate <item>." The certificate will disappear, and your item
will once again have 365 days. A certificate can only be used on a
donation item, and only on a donation item with 0 days (crumbled
condition). When you use a certificate on an aura, a second certificate
will be removed from your inventory automatically. When you use a
certificate on a draconian charm, you must log out and back in to get the
fast flying speed and cheap calling cost.
