CLANTALK
Syntax: cl <message> - sends a message to all online clanmembers with the
CLAN channel on
hcl <message> - sends a message to all online clanmembers (leaders
and coleaders only)
clantalk <on|off> - toggles your clan channel, except for HCL messages
The floating orb in your CLANHALL stores prepurchased clantalks, which cost
10 gold each. Looking in your clanhall will show the number of talks you
have remaining. When your clan runs out, talks will become difficult to
read.
If your clan runs out of talks, please e-mail realestate@medievia.com,
mudmail Realestate, or telepath one of the following gods (the real estate
staff members) if you see them on WHO Taethyst, Damonius, and Zuasha.
In your note or telepath, tell us how many talks or how much gold you want
to add to your clan orb. They cost 10 gold each, so 5 million gold, for
instance, buys 500,000 talks.
Clan leaders, coleaders, and members with the withdrawal CLANPRIV are
authorized to purchase more talks using clan gold. If none of them are
available, other members may ask for more talks if the clan is COMPLETELY
out of talks. The real estate manager and clanleader will be informed. Clan
members may also choose to spend their own money to upgrade their clan orbs
with more talks. To do this, deposit the gold into the clan account first.
Use the CLANTALK ON and CLANTALK OFF commands to toggle whether you hear
your clan channel. Messages sent using HCL by the leader or coleader are not
affected.
Please do not use hclantalk when gabbing and socializing, as some clan
members do not want to be disturbed.
