AVATAR_APPLICATION
The amount of time an avatar volunteers is strictly dependent on their playing
schedule. Please understand that avatars are also players, and sometimes will
be busy or afk. The type of help avatars provide is also their personal
decision. Avatars usually answer questions and approve names, and sometimes
they will offer additional assistance.
Avatars should refrain from pking people level 1-25.
In order to become an avatar, you need to have a real interest in helping new
players, and you must be on the waiting list. You also must be a level 124 with
a hero flag. To apply, answer the questions below in an e-mail to
avatarapp@medievia.com
You may be on the waiting list for a few days, or you may be on the waiting
list for months depending on when the gods decide there is a need for new
avatars. Having a clean history file greatly assists your chances of receiving
a yes vote. We do not recommend constantly asking gods in charge of avatars if
your name has come up yet, complaining about not being an avatar yet, and most
especially comparing yourself with existing avatars in an attempt to prove you
would be a better one. This is considered "unavatar-like" behavior and will
immediately disqualify you from the position. We reserve the right to not hire
for any reason.
Please answer the below questions to the best of your ability. While short
answers are acceptable, they make the task of getting to know you difficult. As
with all applications, please use your best spelling and grammar.
1.) Who are your mortals? List them all, including storage characters. Please
include any characters that have been purged and the reason.
2.) What is your e-mail address?
3.) Why are you interested in becoming an avatar?
4.) What are some of the ways that you would help new players?
5.) How long have you been playing Medievia?
6.) How long has it been since you have played as a new character?
7.) Have you fully read the Learn Module?
8.) What is a keyword you believe the LEARN module is missing? Why?
9.) How familiar are you with Lumond's Haven?
10.) How would you improve on Lumond's Haven?
11.) What are some of the new player zones you are familiar with?
12.) Have you read the newbie guide and other help files related to it?
13.) How much of your time would you spend helping new players?
14.) Write a brief one to two paragraph statement that tells us a bit about
yourself and why you would make a good addition to the avatar staff.
