AQ_APP
This is the application for Autoquest Writer AQW This position involves
writing AQs for players to use in the game.
Read the following before filling out the below application:

*You must be 18 years of age or older (see help GOD_FAQ
*You must have at least one mortal character who has reached total level 63
*You must plan to apply on your own, we don't hire partnership builders
*Use your best grammar and spelling for your entire application
*Do not send attached files with your application
You do not need to know how to code in order to write autoquests. You
need only be creative and willing to come up with interesting stories and
tasks for people to perform. Autoquests are written with a small program
that you will receive a copy of if your application is accepted.
Please send AQW applications to celylia@medievia.com and cc to
soleil@medievia.com. Use "Application for AQW from <Playername>" as the
subject. Replace <Playername> with your main character's name. Do not send
attached files, make sure your application is included in the email body.
You will receive a simple form letter as a receipt to let you know your
application was received and that it will be reviewed with the next batch
of applicants. Please note that groups of applications are reviewed every
1-6 months, so it may take a while depending on when the next one is
planned. Once it has been reviewed you will receive a letter letting you
know whether or not it was accepted.
Application (please include all components):
1.) Are you at least 18 years of age or older?
2.) List your mortal name and levels achieved in Medievia. If you have
more than one include them all.
3.) Have you ever had a Medievia character of yours purged before, and
if so, what was its name and why was it purged?
4.) How long have you played Medievia?
5.) What is your native language and what country do you currently
reside in? What other languages can you speak? Note that having
English as a second language in no way counts against you on the
application.
6.) Please state what percentage of zones (excluding clantowns) you
are familiar enough with that you know the names of most of the
mobs and the storylines behind them.
7.) Please comment on your knowledge of the story of Medievia and the
smaller stories that link various zones together.
8.) What is the amount of time you plan to spend on autoquests per week?
9.) Please provide two example autoquests, bearing in mind the different
objective types and various flags you've seen in existing autoquests.
Be sure to include an actual storyline in your examples, including
mob dialogue. Pay special attention to grammar and spelling.
10.) Please state how many autoquests you have completed while playing on
your mortal.
11.) Do you have any past experience that is related to this position?
(Most autoquest writers/builders are hired with no previous
experience, so don't feel underqualified if you have none).
12.) Describe your education to us. This may be high school, college,
or your own personal studies. What subjects interest you the
most?
13.) Please write 1-2 paragraphs explaining why you wish to write
autoquests for Medievia.
